Fly to Shanghai, the ‘Paris of the East’ and immerse yourself in the local culture. Explore the city’s blend of modernity and tradition, visiting Yu Garden, the old town and a silk factory, followed by a stroll along the Bund and a Huangpu River cruise. Board your Yangtze River cruise vessel, where you’ll admire the Three Gorges Dam and stunning scenery over the next three days. Visit the Panda Conservation Centre, then travel by bullet train to Xi’an for a traditional Shui Jiao dumpling feast and Tang Dynasty performance. Discover the Terracotta Warriors and their workshop, then stroll the city walls and explore the Muslim Quarter before boarding the bullet train.
